| This week we discussed the possible changing of our New Zealand flag and the process of designing a new flag and voting for a new one. |

| After sharing ideas about what our classroom flag should look like we all entered into the spirit of competition and got busy designing our flags. |

| Class leaders of the week and Mrs Winton had a hard job deciding on the 5 finalist during play time. Mrs Winton was very impressed with the discussion our leaders had on what made a flag stand out or not. |
